Clear Coated Lenses (A/R Coat)
This is a coating that should be put on all lenses.
Even sunglasses should have a coating put on the inner surface to stop reflections of your eyes in the back of the lens.
This coating does several jobs.
- It makes the lenses clearer so that you are not aware of them in front of your eyes. If you have not had one of these coatings on your lenses then you do not know what you are missing, it improves the vision you will be amazed!
- The modern coatings make the lens even more scratch resistant.
- They have a hydrophobic coating which makes them so easy to keep clean and because they are so clear, you can see when they need to be cleaned much more easily.
- The night vision is much better you just don’t get the starring effect from car head lamps.
